The USLDCC, United States Line Dance Choreography Championships, is a competition for amateur line dance choreographers.

Amateur, as defined by the USLDCC, is an individual who has never received any form of compensation (i.e. monies, accommodations, or travel fees) for teaching their own original choreography or co-choreography. This does not include “volunteering” as an instructor at workshops/events or teaching in the individual private class.

We have five qualifying events for 2016-2017 and six for 2017-2018:
Big Bang Dance Classic (Charlotte, NC)
Line Dance Showdown (Quincy, MA)
Line Dance Marathon (Raleigh, NC)
Fun in the Sun (Orlando, FL)
Hotlanta Line Dance Jam (Atlanta, GA)
Tampa Bay Line Dance Classic for 2016 (Tampa, FL)
Florida Line Dance Classic for 2017 *Formerly Tampa Bay (Orlando, FL)

Each year, we will have a “rotating” Championship.   This will allow each event the opportunity to host the Championships. Example: The USLDCC competition cycle for 2016-2017 will begin with the 2016 Big Bang Dance Classic and end with the 2017 Big Bang Dance Classic. The 2017 year’s competition will begin with the 2017 Line Dance Showdown and end with the 2018 Line Dance Showdown, and so on.
